RaceTrac Funds Parkinson's Research, Honors Michael J. Fox

RaceTrac, a convenience store chain, is partnering with the Michael J. Fox Foundation for the 14th annual "Coffee for a Cause" fundraiser during Parkinson's Awareness Month. This initiative, running from April 13th to 19th, 2025, aims to raise funds for Parkinson's research. Since 2011, RaceTrac's "Coffee for a Cause" week and annual Run for Research 5K have collectively raised over $9 million.
The campaign's significance is deeply personal for RaceTrac. Melanie Isbill, RaceTrac's chief brand officer and a board member of the Michael J. Fox Foundation since March 2021, explains that Parkinson's affects many, including her father, Carl Bolch Jr., RaceTrac chairman emeritus and a current Foundation patient council member, and her grandfather, RaceTrac founder Carl Bolch Sr. Isbill emphasizes the Foundation's crucial role in driving research toward a cure.
RaceTrac's contribution is simple: customers can support the cause by purchasing their daily coffee. All proceeds from "Coffee for a Cause" week will be donated to the Michael J. Fox Foundation. Customers can also contribute an additional $1 to in-store purchases or opt for a $1 candy bar at the register throughout April. RaceTrac offers various coffee roasts, from regular to hazelnut and decaf, all made with freshly ground, freshly brewed beans.
With over 1 million Americans living with Parkinson's, the need for research funding is paramount. RaceTrac's sustained commitment underscores the importance of collective action in combating this disease. For locations, visit the RaceTrac website.
